3RYB 35.2

After she said this, she was a little proud, but came to a halt when she saw Wei Yan's face turned ugly.

A bad premonition crept into He Quanyi's heart. Could she have said something wrong? "Is that so?"

Xie Yun's voice came from the other end of Hang Ze's phone. She asked, "Gu Qi, can you tell me why you acted like that?"

"Sorry, I took the initiative to do this."

Gu Qi didn’t explain herself directly, but apologized first, "But I don't think I cried because of the child's injury."

This was indeed the case. She didn't deliberately want to act in a crying scene, but when she saw the piggy bank again after everything was done, she unconsciously felt like crying.

In Gu Qi's view, this seemingly calm scene was the destruction of the last hope of female lead Chun Ya's life. She kept saying that her son was too impulsive to explore the abandoned teaching building of the school, but she was actually hesitating about her choice.

The son's choice to ‘explore’ and get injured symbolized her unknown adventure. If she stepped into the new world, would it be as beautiful as she imagined?

So in the end, she reluctant eyed the piggy bank on the table, but she made the final choice when she went to the kitchen to pick up the apron.

Gu Qi calmly explained her thoughts. He Quanyi's hands that hung by her side kept clenching.

Looking at the smile on Xie Yun's face on the other end of the phone, she naturally understood that the question she raised wasn’t a problem, but a detail design deliberately added by Gu Qi. This gave the other party a chance to "show off".

Hang Ze put the phone into Fang Zhian's hand, stood up, and walked to the seat behind the door. The script brought by Gu Qi was still there and he interjected: "Can I take a look?"

Gu Qi was a little surprised that Hang Ze went to get her script, but still nodded: "Do as you like."

Hang Ze spread the densely annotated script on the table, and said directly to Xie Yun: "Why don't you two talk about it in private? I think some of her ideas here seem to be a bit similar to what you said before."

"Okay, I have this hunch." Xie Yun nodded and agreed directly. She even asked Hang Ze to give her Gu Qi's contact information.

Gu Qi was very surprised.

She didn't think that her performance would be appreciated by Director Xie Yun who wasn't present and bowed immediately.

He Quanyi on the side looked even more embarrassed.

She criticized Gu Qi for acting badly and wrongly, but it turned out that she didn't understand the script in a short time.

Xie Yun even called her name: "He Quanyi, right? Do you understand?"

Xie Yun's script was written simply, with too much blank space.

Because the script didn't have any psychological description, the character's motivation could only be inferred through behavior and dialogue. This led to the fact that it wasn't fully understood in such a short time. Nor did He Quanyi read the script carefully.

In He Quanyi's opinion, she only needed to choose a segment to perform. So of course she read it hastily and then chose the segment with the strongest emotional outburst to practice repeatedly. How could she remember the previous ones?

But He Quanyi couldn't say "I didn't read it carefully", so she could only admit through gritted teeth: "My thinking was too simple."

At this moment, Wei Yan turned to Gu Qi and said: "You are the opposite of Shen Anran. Your advantage is that you are empathetic and understand the role. It can be seen that you spent time and effort."

Hang Ze turned to Wei Yan without hiding her surprise and remarked: "You can actually praise people?"

Anyone could hear that the usually strict director Wei Yan gave Gu Qi a complete compliment. So they were all surprised.

"I haven't finished speaking yet." Wei Yan turned to Gu Qi, "If I'm not mistaken, this character has something in common with you. A good actor can minimize the traces of performance, but the degree of integration between you and her is too high. I don't think this is a level that could be achieved purely by skills."

"...Yes."

Gu Qi didn't deny that her performance style had always been like this, relying on finding resonance with the role. Rather than saying that she was performing a role, it was better to say that she had become the role.

Wei Yan continued, "This method has too many restriction. It doesn't mean that you can find this balance point for all roles. If you are given a role that is completely unrelated to you, you have to watch, learn, and experience it. Constantly experiencing entering and exiting the play may have an impact on the actor himself."

Fang Zhian smiled, "Director Wei Yan is concerned about you."

It wasn't that there are no experiential actors who are too deeply involved in the play and cannot get out of it for the rest of their lives, thinking that they are the role.

This was the most natural way of acting, but if it wasn't handled well, it may cause great harm to the actor himself.

"I think that her method wasn't purely acting." Wei Yan snorted coldly to express his attitude before turning to Hang Ze, "Do we need to ask them?"

"Xie Yun's attitude is very obvious." Hang Ze smiled, "Let's discuss it and decide."

Obviously, this was a matter of going through the process.

Hang Ze turned to the others and stood up in a friendly manner, "Thank you for your hard work. You can go back. We will arrange for the person in charge to notify you in the evening."

The three left Jinyue's office building, but happened to meet at the elevator door.

Shen Anran's face was full of admiration and she praised, "Senior Gu Qi is indeed very experienced. I feel that I have learned a lot from watching your performance today."

Gu Qi's attitude was indifferent. She praised her in return, "No, you acted very well."

She wasn't flattering. Shen Anran didn't come from a performing arts academy and had not received professional training. It was already very good to have such acting skills.

He Quanyi, who was standing aside, showed disdain on her face, "Jinyue Film and Television is only going to recruit one actress."

The implication was that the two should stop acting here. In fact, they were competitors. There was no point in flattering each other.

Shen Anran's face flashed with a touch of disappointment.

At this moment, the elevator door opened.

Gu Qi yawned and walked out quickly.

In fact, she didn't care what He Quanyi said. It didn't matter whether Jinyue recruited her or not. Being recognized by Director Xie Yun and actively adding contact information was already the biggest gain for her as an actor.

More importantly, Hang Ze was right. That potato pancake was unpalatable.

Therefore she was hungry.

Glutinous rice, glutinous rice, glutinous rice.

Her favorite glutinous rice was nearby.

Gu Qi judged the route as quickly as possible and rushed out directly.

Taking in Gu Qi's back as she ‘escaped’, He Quanyi found it a little absurd. She didn't know where to vent her anger. Shee could only glare at Shen Anran, who looked like a weak little white flower behind her, and swiftly left.

And that night.

The news that the three of them came to Jinyue Film and Television for an interview together became a hot search.

He Quanyi was so angry that she laughed, "Is Gu Qi mental? She won and still bought this kind of hot search press release to drag me down, right?"

The assistant stood aside, but her expression became particularly complicated, saying, "According to the latest news from there, Jinyue seemed to want to sign Shen Anran."

He Quanyi was stunned and she blurted out, "How is it possible?"

She wasn't blind during the interview today. All the directors were very satisfied with Gu Qi. Xie Yun even wanted to add her contact information privately.

Even if she didn't witness at the director's reaction, as a bystander, she had to say it fairly and impartially. Although Shen Anran's acting skills were better than she thought, there was still a gap between her and Gu Qi. If she was the director, she wouldn't drop Gu Qi and sign Shen Anran.

The assistant lowered his voice, "Don't forget, there was another director who didn't attend today. That director's surname was Shen."

The assistant handed the information he had sent someone to check to He Quanyi.

After He Quanyi read through it, a look of shock appeared on her face.

She didn't expect that Shen Anran was low-key. In fact, her family was very famous in City A.

It wasn’t that they were a wealthy family. In recent years, they have obviously been declining, but they could somewhat be called a rich second generation. It was that Shen Anran had never used this to hype herself up.

He Quanyi rubbed her chin: "I remember that Gu Qi's family was quite rich. Is she willingly let the spot be taken away?"

The assistant replied: "Jiang Family is in real estate and has nothing to do with film and television."

It was useless to have money. After all, the other director Shen who didn't attend was probably related to Shen Anran. This was the real network resource that could be used.

"Tsk, truly annoying."

He Quanyi leaned on the sofa. As an actress, she could accept fair wins and losses. If her acting skills were inferior then it was inferior. Seeing her competitors win in this way, she would still feel unable to accept it.

She immediately lit another cigarette: "Forget it, it's none of my business."

Anyway, she didn't perform well today. She lost. Losing to anyone was still a loss.

If anyone wanted to be angry, it should be Gu Qi's turn to be angry.

But thinking of Gu Qi——

He Quanyi's mood became worse.

She lost to Gu Qi once many years ago, and now she lost for the second time.

So He Quanyi turned to her assistant, "Show me all the plays that Gu Qi had acted in the past few years."

After losing to Gu Qi today, she began to think about it again and again on the way back. If she was playing Gu Qi's part today, what level would she perform?

But the more she thought about it, the more annoyed she became.

It seemed like a plain scene, but it was very difficult to perform well.

It was because she tried that she realized how touching Gu Qi's performance was today.

That was to say, Gu Qi's progress was greater than she thought.

If she and Gu Qi chose the same scene, she would lose even more miserably.

She had to study carefully to see what level her former rival was at now.

In the evening, Gu Qi received a message from Hang Ze, saying that they had internal disagreements and the results might be announced later.

Gu Qi didn't take it too seriously, because she was busy discussing with Xie Yun whether some details of the script could be modified.

For Gu Qi, Xie Yun was the director she wanted to work with the most. Now that she had been recognized by her ‘idol’, she didn't feel like caring about anything else.

Xie Yun even told Gu Qi that she was going to return to the country next week and had few other scripts on hand. If there was a chance, they could meet to discuss them.

Gu Qi: “!”

A hint of excitement appeared on that face that had never shown obvious emotions. The corners of her lips even slightly rose.

Jiang Lechuan, who came to give her the super delicious fried chicken he had today, showed a horrified expression: “Why are you grinning at your phone? You…you’re not secretly in love, are you?”

Gu Qi: “You think too much.”

The one second smile disappearing technique was applied.

Jiang Lechuan instantly breathed a sigh of relief, "That's right. I'm so handsome and I haven't been in a relationship yet. How could you be in a relationship when I’m not?"

When Gu Qi turned to him with a fake smile and threw the nearby pillow, Jiang Lechuan ran away with his head in his hands: "I'm worried about you! You see, you have bad taste in men. If you fall in love, I must be the one to check...

I'm sorry, I was wrong. I'm got a bad mouth. I won't dare to do it again! If you have something to say, please talk to me nicely and don't kick me out!!!"
