Chapter 69. Go to the city with Father and Mother
Lin Qing He didn't remain at home during New Year's Day. She took San Wa over to the old Zhou's house.
She came to chat Eldest Sister-in-law, Third Sister-in-law, and Zhou Xiao Mei. As for Second Sister-in-law, she wasn't included in her list.

ReplyDeleteOof, ZQB is a little too stubborn and insensitive. I understand where LQH comes from because even though there's no love in their relationship, he cares for her--as his wife--because he knows that the job is risky and he doesn't want her to have to experience any hardship. Also, it's addicting, as ZQB will have the urge to do it again because of the profit made, plus the losses outweigh the gains when the law comes into play.
ReplyDeleteI just hope that she drops this idea and attempts something else--as she came from the future and she has more ideas to draw from to make money--rather than doing something she know is illegal and will affect their whole family in the future, if she attempts it.
I feel bad for LQH at this point because of her constant pleas (and also using the honey trap). Jiayou, stay strong LQH.
Any idea to make money would not be legal. The very idea of "making money" was pretty much illegal in that era.
