ReplyDeleteIt had just occurred to me that she could be a bit of a tsundere too... It's cute, actually. Not to mention that she's one of the vanishingly rare heroine that still seemed to be able to enjoy sex in c-novels. That was an unexpected but pleasant bonus to this story.
I really enjoy the calm, slice-of-life pace of the whole thing. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's very soothing. I like how human most of Lin Qing He's in-laws are. Her MIL tried to be a bit interfering at the beginning, for example, before she gave up completely in the face of Lin Qing He, hahaha. The people around her feel more human than like caricatures.
Also, hmm, her husband's starting to discern things about her education and intelligence, but he's almost afraid to think too much/dig too deep into it. I wonder why? I'm looking forward to the development of this little subplot too!

Cus really while certain characters have flaws it's not like it's too detrimental to the point the whole story becomes disparaging.
