 Chapter 556. Attitude toward business

When she first found out Lin Qing He was pregnant, it can't be described how surprised Mother Weng was.

After all, the oldest, Young Kai was already this big. She was actually pregnant? But apart from the initial surprise, that was nothing else. If they want to have a baby, then birth. They have that condition to. After all , they have it?

It wasn't bad to have a youngest son or youngest daughter.

But Lin Qing He's pregnancy was obviously not smooth. Mother Weng was lucky during her two visits as she was just dry-retching when she met her.

Seeing such large reaction, Mother Weng couldn't bear to watch.

Lin Qing He grinned: "It's better now. As long as I don't eat too greasy things, it's basically no problem."

"It's still not easy." Mother Weng remarked.

They were all women. Being pregnant and birthing children weren't trivial matters.

At first, Lin Qing He felt like life was coming to an end. But after thinking about it, she felt a little lucky.

How to say?

She slightly believed the old fortune-teller's words. She already got ligation and could still be pregnant. Wasn't it mysterious? And the old man also said that this was brought on by her fate-change.

What fate-change? That didn't exist at all. It meant the original owner had no fate of having a daughter. This daughter was destined by her own fate.

Since it was destined, can she escape? Whether it was early and late birth, it can still come. Lin Qing He hadn't reached the forty mark yet. Although this was advanced-age pregnancy, Lin Qing He felt her physical condition was fine.

If it came few years later, it will be life-threatening. So it was pretty good right now.

After staying with Mother Weng for more than an hour, Lin Qing He returned. She didn't go back to the dumpling shop. Instead, she strolled around other shops.

She also dropped by San Ni's side.

San Ni's son was called Pang Pang. He was nice and round. Obviously, he was well taken care of. He seems to be clever as well.

"Fourth Aunt, do you feel better now?" Zhou San Ni washed a cup and poured water for her.

Lin Qing He happened to be thirsty and drank the glass of water, "Much better. Not as unwell as before."

Back then, Zhou San Ni was thoughtful. She would make sour radish dices and send them two jars. Lin Qing He would occasionally snack on some. Although the effect wasn't great, the thought counted.

"I heard from your fourth uncle that your shop is rented out?" Lin Qing He said.

"En. We won't do business for the time being, so we rented it out first since it's there." Li Ai Guo smiled.

"That's not bad. It's more or less a side income." Lin Qing He nodded.

Prices had increased to another level this year. There were fewer things one can buy with the same amount of money. She had increased the wages of Li Ai Guo and Zhou San Ni. Before the couple was 80 yuan, this year it had risen to 140 yuan.

Thirty to forty yuan was enough for the couple to spend on living expenses. Pang Pang didn't have much expenses. Saving one hundred yuan a month wasn't much difficulty.

However, only one thousand two dollars can be saved in a year. Although it was a lot, they owe Lin Qing He and Zhou Qing Bai a sum of money from buying a shop.

Li Ai Guo's intention was to watch the store for three years and then go out to do it alone. However, Zhou San Ni firmly disagreed on this.

First of all, the money they owed her fourth uncle and fourth aunt may not be fully returned in three years. They were now familiar with these things. However, even if fourth uncle and fourth aunt were willing to mentor them, how much did it cost to purchase the goods? This cost was huge!

Where do they get this money? Relying on her fourth uncle and aunt once, then twice. It can't be that they need to rely on them every time and take advantage of them?

They brought them to the capital and arranged work for them. What's more, they even lent such a large sum of money to help them buy a shop. Zhou San Ni felt it was enough.

So she planned to watch this shop and keep at it. Whenever they cleared their debt to her fourth uncle and fourth aunt and whenever they saves the capital for doing business, then they'll do it by themselves. Since the shop was currently rented, they aren't suffer a loss from the rental income.

Because Zhou San Ni was very persistent on this, Li Ai Guo could only listen to his wife.

It was rare to see his wife so decisive on something.

Of course, these matters hadn't been mentioned to Lin Qing He and Zhou Qing Bai.

Lin Qing He sat here for a while. Thinking that there were other food available at home, she didn't take anything back.

It was almost dinner time when she got back.

Hu Zi had returned pretty early. He brought Chen Shan Shan back after the Lantern Festival. At that time, Lin Qing He was diagnosed with pregnancy. It was when her life was dark and she wasn't in the mood to care about him.

This year Huzi moved out by himself. He rented a place outside and started his career as a stall seller. As for the money he made, he still took it to his aunt, Lin Qing He.

It was worth mentioning that he already got his capital's household registration.

He was moved out before Weng Guo Dong. He had one household registration and one ID card. Nowadays, he was a veritable capital citizen that's not afraid of going anywhere.

Lin Qing He was very satisfied with this nephew. He was driven and hardworking. Moreover, he was a lot smarter after studying for two years than when he first came. He can take on bitterness.

As long as it didn't rain, nothing can stop his footsteps.

"Why did you come back so soon today?" Lin Qing He said with a smile.

"Aunt." Hu Zi was talking with his uncle. Hearing a voice, he turned around and smilingly greeted. He replied: "I'm lucky today. I sold out the clothes in advance and I have to buy another batch tomorrow."

"Occasionally take Shan Shan out to see a movie. Look at you, being busy everyday and got no time to accompany her." Lin Qing He said.

"I have." Hu Zi jollily responded.

Chen Shan Shan and him were now fiancé and fiancée. His household registration had been transferred and had reached marriage age. But he had no plans for this this year.

He want to make more money and buy a shop first. His uncle and aunt had told him to buy a shop if he have money. He can't keep setting up a stall like this.

He listened to them and wanted to make more money. After all, it really cost him a fortune to move his household registration this year.

"What were you talking with your uncle about? You stopped when I came in." Lin Qing He said casually.

"It's nothing. When I hawking wares, I ran into Sheng Qiang." Hu Zi shook his head and told.

There was nothing to say about this. He ran into Xu Sheng Qiang and Xu Sheng Qiang saw him. He originally wanted to say hello, but Xu Sheng Qiang glanced at him and looked away. So he didn't put a hot face on a cold butt.

The two didn't speak and both mutually agreed that they didn't know each other.

In the end, no one taught Xu Sheng Qiang. He really can't stand how Xu Sheng Qiang do business. His attitude was particularly bad.

After checking it out, customer bargained with him. He simply stated that if they want to buy, then buy it. If not, go away.

Was this how one do business?

That location was so good that all of his items were sold out. While only two of Xu Sheng Qiang's were sold.

With that attitude, people were all driven away by him.

    4. San Ni’s mindset is self sabotaging. The earlier they move out the more they can earn, and the faster they can repay the MC.

      1. Right. ONLY IF they have enough money to buy the things they're going to sell. Now, see how much money they already earned:
        1. The money they brought from the village. I don't remember the exact amount, but they got 400 yuan or so from selling their asset there to the branch secretary. Let's blow it up and say that they brought 1000 yuan from the village.
        2. They got 80 yuan and saved 50 yuan a month (they only spent 30 yuan a month and they can save 600 yuan a year) and the fourth branch is the one who pay for their medical expenses. San Ni was pregnant exactly one year after her marriage. Now that Pang Pang has born, she's been in capital for less than 2 years. Let's blow it up again into 3 years and get the new salary with 30 yuan living cost to count their saving... 110 yuan in 36 months. Then, they have saved 3960 yuan from their salary. Let's round it up again to 4000 yuan.

So, they have 5000 yuan in their saving, and they borrowed some more money to buy a shop. The last time LQH bought a small shop a few years ago, it's 7000 yuan. Let's say there's no rise in properties's price since that time, and they bought their new shop at 7000. So, they've borrowed 2000 yuan from the fourth branch.

Now, see the initial cost they need to start the dry good shop. It's 2000 yuan a few years ago before the inflation. Let's say they can get the goods through LQH and they can push down the initial cost to 2000 yuan. It means, they need to borrow another 2000 and their loan would be 4000. How much money LQH got from the dry goods shop in the initial stage and how much she gets now each month? Let's be optimistic and say they can get 400 yuan of profit each month right from the start. It means, even after all those delusional conditions, they still need 10 months to clear their loan and another 5 months (2000 yuan) to get their capital resident registration.

I agree that the earlier they open their own shop, the faster they can repay the MC. But, I'm agree with San Ni that they have to earn their initial capital instead of borrowing it again from the fourth branch. Even if it may not be a significant amount of money for LQH, it's still a huge amount of money. It'd be too much of taking advantage of the fourth branch and too shameless.

The most realistic plan is work and save money for one more year, add the money from renting their shop, and (it'd be around 2000 yuan) they could use it as the initial capital. Then, they would be able to repay the fourth branch and be independent in another year or two. It'd just delay them one year and they can preserve their bottom line. Patience is virtue and I believe LQH would appreciate them more for it.

Ofc, it'd be entirely different if they didn't mind to have a business which was mostly build on loan. 🤷‍♀️
