Chapter 540. Dating issue
Lin Qing He and Zhou Qing Bai paid no more heed to old Lin Family. This time, the money that should be paid wasn't shorted. As for the rest, Lin Qing He won't overcontribute.

When they returned to Zhoujia Village, Lin Qing He and Zhou Qing Bai planned to go back to the county city. Which also meant they'll return to the capital city.

Eldest Sister-in-law prepared two bags of pickled eggs and wrapped it for them. For Zhou Qing Bai, it wasn't heavy, so Lin Qing He accepted them.
"Eldest Sister-in-law, you don't have to worry about Er Ni and Si Ni sisters. They are faring well. Come to think of it, Yang Yang hasn't come back this year?" Lin Qing He asked.
"Yang Yang is staying over there. He called back and said that he accepted a job and won't be back this year," Eldest Sister-in-law explained.
Lin Qing He didn't say anything. She and Zhou Qing Bai hurried to the county city.
They headed straight to Third Brother and Third Sister-in-law's side.
Seeing them coming over, they knew that the matter was finished.
"Fourth Aunt, I plan to come back to the county city to teach." Zhou Wu Ni brought tea to the table and sat down next her fourth aunt.
"The county city isn't bad. But have you never thought of teaching in the capital?" Lin Qing He asked. Toward this niece, she looked highly. Her personality was like her father and mother, very nimble.
"I don't have much confidence to go there. I will go there on vacation once the summer vacation come." Zhou Wu Ni smiled.
"Sure." Lin Qing He didn't push. It depended on personal choice. If she wanted to teach in the capital, she would help make arrangements. It wasn't a bad idea either to stay in the county city.
After all, her parents were here too.
"I want her to go to the capital. It would be nice if she finds a match in the capital." Third Sister-in-law jollily said.
"A match is base on regions. Her fancy is the most important and that he'll treat her well." Lin Qing He smiled.
Zhou Wu Ni spoke: "I like Fourth Aunt's concept. Really, my mother. She got infected by First Aunt and wants me to find someone in the capital."
She didn't have any such thoughts. She felt the county city was pretty good. It had everything. Why did she have to go to the capital? It was a bit excessive to go all the way there to find a match.
"Yang Yang just found a match in the provincial city." Zhou Wu Ni let out an astonishing news.

"I've saw it twice. The two went to the library together. And one time, they were shopping outside together. I guessed they should be dating. He haven't come back this year, so I'm sure it must be." Zhou Wu Ni grinned.
"I heard Yang Yang say that he will come back to teach in the county city in the future." Third Sister-in-law said.
"Then bring the girl over to here. Our county isn't any worst. It's lively." Zhou Wu Ni shrugged.
"The girl got to be willing first." Third Sister-in-law responded.
"Yang Yang isn't bad. If she isn't willing, it can't be helped. I think Yang Yang seriously care for her. He hasn't come back for the New Year this year." Zhou Wu Ni uttered.
Lin Qing He smiled: "Eldest Sister-in-law don't you know, right?"
"Eldest Aunt doesn't know yet." Zhou Wu Ni nodded.
"I heard Xia Xia is dating his master's daughter?" Lin Qing He said.
Third Sister-in-law snorted, "Xia Xia's girl is so bad-tempered. Last time they came to this side, we gave her a stool to sit on and she didn't want to sit on it."
Zhou Qing Bai frowned. Lin Qing He turned to him: "I'll talk to Third Sister-in-law. You can go to the furniture factory."
Zhou Qing Bai rode his bicycle over to the furniture factory.
The guard went in and called Zhou Xia. Soon he came out. Behind him, there was a young girl.
"Four Uncle!" Zhou Xia was overjoyed.
Zhou Qing Bai nodded when he saw his nephew. Then his eyes fell on the girl behind him.
"Fourth Uncle, this is Miao Miao, my girlfriend." Zhou Xia made the introduction. Then he introduced his fourth uncle to Ma Miao Miao.
However, Ma Miao Miao didn't greet him. She looked away.
There was embarrassment on Zhou Xia's face. Zhou Qing Bai didn't say anything, just shook his head in his heart.
"Go back first. I'll talk to my fourth uncle." Zhou Xia said.
Ma Miao Miao turned around and went back.
"Fourth Uncle, Miao Miao is like that. Don't mind her." Zhou Xia apologized.
Zhou Qing Bai didn't comment about this. He just said: "Work hard. Try to come out and do it alone as soon as possible."
"It's not so easy to come out alone." Zhou Xia sighed.
Opening a wooden workshop by himself needed a lot of money. He already had the ability to do it alone, but he didn't have the money. He also lacked money for his family to build a new house.
"Even though it's not easy, you still have to plan. You can't work here for the rest of your life." Zhou Qing Bai said.
"I know. Can only take it slowly." Zhou Xia nodded.
Zhou Qing Bai chatted with him for a while before he came back. Seeing him come back, Lin Qing He spoke: "Why did you come back so soon? I thought you guys would have a lot to talk about."

Lin Qing He understood. He was definitely not satisfied with what he saw. Lin Qing He didn't feel anything. It was Zhou Xia and that girl's business. It had nothing to do with others. So there was nothing to discuss.
If there were dissatisfaction, Zhou Xia wouldn't date her. And she wouldn't going out with Zhou Xia. The girl should be satisfied with Zhou Xia. After all, Zhou Xia had a very easy-going temperament like Second Brother. Girls looked for this in a match.
Lin Qing He felt that the girl was probably dissatisfied with old Zhou Family.
"She thought you were a poor relative and gave you attitude?" Lin Qing He asked.
"No." Zhou Qing Bai shook his head.

"Why are bringing this up to Sister?" Third Brother Lin interrupted her.
"It's not like it can't be said. He chatted to the relatives like we had mistreated him a lot. We had sent back a lot money. Same for supplies. He still disdain it all day long. I'm putting this down. I won't agree to letting Father come and live here!" Third Sister-in-law Lin stated.

Third Sister-n-law Lin is right. I'm certain she hasn't forgotten how the Lin family didn't care for her while she was pregnant. No use inviting such a hateful person into their home.

Plus third brother Lin need to remember how they treated his wife all those years ago when she had just given birth to their daughter 😤😤😤 is there’s a time to be soft hearted….but this isn’t the time for it!!

ReplyDeleteIf your parents aren't good, filial piety will ruin you and your spouse and maybe your whole family unit. If Third Brother Lin agrees to Father Lin living with them, not only will his wife suffer, but surely his children will, too. He doesn't care if he suffers, he's a very self-sacrificing guy, he was even good to the original Qing He who was a sh*t person. I know he has to be filial, but he shouldn't hurt his family in the process. Hopefully he does the right thing for them.

It just come upon me... What if he made clear and strictly controlled the money and supplies he sent back were all must be used by the old couple, instead of letting the old couple "smuggled" it to be divided among his two brothers? Like, firmly expressed to his parents to not sent the supplies to his brothers and let them brothers took care about how they're interacted by themselves. Or directly hired the villagers and let one of them (the most trustworthy one) as the team leader to repair his parents' living space instead of just sending the materials.
It may sound harsh, but you can only treat people as respectable human when they're behave as respectable human. His parents and the two families of his brothers are such kind of people... If he wants to be filial and make the Old Lin family orderly, I can't see a better method than being a "tyrant" and strictly controlling them with an iron hand. The problem is, he's not that kind of person. Meanwhile the one who has potential to be such kind of person (coug --LQH--cough) has no interest to be filial for the old couple and to care to re-educate the younger generation of the Old Lin. 😶
