ReplyDeleteI feel like the writer understands men. Being able to provide for the family, it doesn't even mean being the top earner, is hugely important to their self-worth. If they don't feel like they're making real contributions to the well being of their family they become extremely depressed.
ReplyDeleteAlso, when the gender isn't specified you can use they/them as an alternative. While it's typically used as a plural it can also be used in a generic way for a person. It's less awkward than saying he/she at least 😂
