I think the translator is very reluctant in changing the content so s/he keeps using Chinese expression as it is, instead of using the more appropriate (though different) in order to ease and familiarize the reading experience

It's the OG mother's fault why they're rough around the edges at the point and that woman clearly didn't put in effort into raising them, hence why the 3rd son couldn't even say father or mother at 1year of age. To jokingly or not, talk about physical punishment for 5,3 and 1 year olds respectively is in serious bad humor.

ReplyDeleteTo sum it up she went for dude she didn't love but thought had the potential to make it somewhere so to make sure when he does make it somewhere she gave him 3 sons who she didn'tgive shit about, but life didn't go as planned and the man who she wanted to use to climb up into the world go injuured and due to him being very bad at communicating and comforting she started to show her true side and abused her kids and then cheated on her husband run off with the family money with the person she cheated ehich probaly tramatized the kids more on then got scamed and died

Man even though what the original body did to the kids was pretty cooked she herself had it quite bad too with that block of wood husband ... like sure the kids aren't at fault and if she had been better to them she could have had a better life and interacted with then and gotten the love she wanted but welp you know how it is for women in these times, cheating is still something I can never really forgive but welp, in a sense I get her.
