Chapter 254. Handwarmer
When Lin Qing He said that, she received a bitter glance from Zhou Qing Bai.

Zhou Xuan was Er Wa, Zhou Gui Lai was San Wa.

Back in the room, Lin Qing He talked with Zhou Qing Bai: "You went out in the morning, just for this?"
"En." Zhou Qing Bai responded. He didn't know if he could get it, so he didn't bring it up.
Lin Qing He sat in his arms and looked at her own man. He never said anything caring. At most just a few sentences a day. Still, he always kept her matters in his heart.
He didn't speak much yesterday. And today, he rode out after eating breakfast and got her this handwarmer back.
"Qing Bai." Lin Qing He's heart was warmed and called out to her own man.

Third Sister-in-law Lin revealed a smile on her face. With these two pheasants, some leftover meat from the previous distribution, the numerous chickens they raised, and accumulated eggs, this year's New Year will be a good one.

ReplyDeleteI just realized how subtle the name change is, the author used Zhou Kai when talking about Da Wa in an environment outside of the family and used it more frequently during his college days and let us get used to it that we rarely see him get called Da Wa unless it's a family member talking.
ReplyDeleteOnce we're familiar with Zhou Kai instead of Da Wa the author reminded us about Er Wa being Zhou Xuan and San Wa being Zhou Gui Kai really naturally but not forgetting that the readers probably forgot about their real names and reminded us about which is which.
I'm guessing as they get older we'll see their real names being used more often than Da Wa, Er Wa, and San Wa
